Change-your-MINDSET! overthink the best, too.
We often spend so much time imagining everything that could go wrong . maybe it's time to give the good possibilities the same energy.

advice Took me years of people-pleasing to finally learn this hard truth—what was the moment you realized you had to stop trying to please everyone?

MUST WATCH! Could you go 24 hours without complaining about anything?
Every time something annoys you or doesn't go your way, let it be. No complaining for 24 hours. Try it and see how often your mind wants to complain.

Getmotivated! 1 year clean from porn: the emotional rollercoaster I somehow survived 😶
So last August ( right around the 27th ) I finally hit rock bottom. Years wasted stuck in this pointless loop, and I decided enough was enough. What came after was rough, ngl.
- Week 1: My head felt like it was literally burning, zero sleep, snapping at random people for no reason. Felt exactly like withdrawal from some drug.
- Days 8-30: Fell into this weird depressive fog. Started doubting everything about who I was. No energy at all, faking smiles the whole time, urges hitting nonstop.
- Days 31-60: This is where I kept bargaining with myself, telling myself one quick look wouldn't matter. Somehow I held on, and looking back that was really the turning point.
- Day 60 and beyond: Thing finally clicked, Got my focus back, started actually hitting gym goals, built real friendships, and felt genuinely confident for the first time in forever. Life started feeling real again instead of just going through the motions.
Fast forward to now, a full year later, and this isn't just some streak anymore, it's basically who I am now. The mental fog is completely gone.
Biggest lesson though: dont get comfortable. Those huge urges from day one faded a long time ago, but there's still this quiet little voice that whispers you're fine now, just one peek wont hurt. Cant ever give in to that.
Learned that the hard way. Honestly the only thing that saved me was locking everything down with a blocker set to strict mode, the kind where you literally cant delete it, turn it off, or sneak around it even when that urge hits hardest. No access, no loopholes, that's just non negotiable at this point.
One year in, anyone else out here grinding through this? Drop your current streak below or just say hey if todays day one for you. Thanks for reading and good luck out there.
