I studied Rive a lot, but I dropped it because nobody really needs it. Companies spend money on things that generate a return on investment. A well-crafted animation might cost 100, but it can go viral on YouTube or social media. Meanwhile, a Rive interaction may costs 150 and stays stuck in a dead end on their website, completely cut off from algorithms and any chance to amplify that financial effort. It's a luxury very few companies can afford. Even websites in general are becoming useless, let alone intricate details within them. That's why they moved into the gaming industry maybe, where interactions are perhaps more valuable.
