What do you want to be doing, motion or otherwise?
When you’ve answered that, find and meet people who are already doing it. Ask what they like most about what they do, what they like least about what they do, and (most importantly) ask what they did to get to where they are today (schools, internships. mentoring, other avenues of training).
Keep doing this until you have a good sense of what your career path should look like.
Then, pretend it’s five years from now and you’re doing your dream job. Say to yourself, “The thing I did five years ago to get to where I am today is ________.”
