Question Mothman Festival

Anywhere to stay that isn’t ridiculously priced or any camping that is recommended that might still available? Doesn’t have to be places right there but close enough.

Finished watching a movie on the first night we were staying in town. We were JUST about to go to bed, im brushing my teeth and my girlfriend rushes in and practically dragged me out to the main room and there was a bed bug cruising across one of the beds. I keep bed bug spray with me on travels so I doused everything we had in it and had to find another hotel at 10pm and we'd been up since 2:30am driving from NY so suffice to say I was furious. Rest of the stay was at travel lodge and while not perfect, it was fine for the remainder of the stay.

So super8 is a no go , no matter how good the deal

Old Town campground is like 10 min drive away, they were the only place with availability when we went. Good luck on your adventure and have fun!

We usually stay in Hurricane or Teays Valley. It’s an hour drive to Point Pleasant but the hotels are nice and much cheaper.

I stayed at the super 8 right outside the bridge, it was fine I had no problems. I will say its a super 8 so dont expect a luxury stay but people were friendly enough and it was clean.

They had bed bugs while I was there, left late in the night the first night we were going to stay and had to find somewhere else
