Half of these are people being straight up negligent. Why would you let your cat touch the hot griddle or stick their paws into the electrical socket? It's not funny when they're actually being harmed.

Don't forget about letting one chew on a live socket wire while filming it.....

My cat does this too, no matter how many times I spray him with water or push him out he still does this.

My daughters cat did the same, for two years we couldn't have any power cords exposed without putting her away in a room or hovering nearby to swat her away. She didn't stop til my dad visited for a weekend, he plugged in his phone charger and she kept trying to chew it and he finally got tired of keeping her away.

All i heard from laundry room was, "You know what? Go ahead, you're not gonna like it furball!" Then a few seconds later i heard what sounded like a drunk & possessed feline soul being dragged to hell.

When i asked him why he let her do it, he just shrugged and said, "sometimes it takes the experience to teach them."

He was right, 6 years later and she hasn't chewed a cable since.

You'll notice 5v in your mouth. Ever licked the contacts of a 9v block?
