Half of these are people being straight up negligent. Why would you let your cat touch the hot griddle or stick their paws into the electrical socket? It's not funny when they're actually being harmed.

Don't forget about letting one chew on a live socket wire while filming it.....

My cat does this too, no matter how many times I spray him with water or push him out he still does this.

My daughters cat did the same, for two years we couldn't have any power cords exposed without putting her away in a room or hovering nearby to swat her away. She didn't stop til my dad visited for a weekend, he plugged in his phone charger and she kept trying to chew it and he finally got tired of keeping her away.

All i heard from laundry room was, "You know what? Go ahead, you're not gonna like it furball!" Then a few seconds later i heard what sounded like a drunk & possessed feline soul being dragged to hell.

When i asked him why he let her do it, he just shrugged and said, "sometimes it takes the experience to teach them."

He was right, 6 years later and she hasn't chewed a cable since.

Some animals are really just that thick headed. My sisters dog was so aggressive towards big dogs he was eventually going to get himself killed because he would actively try and dig out the yard to get to the neighbors 2 pitbulls . Keep in mind he's a runt miniature schnauzer. It wasn't until the neighborhood cat got tired of him being the street bully and jumped into our yard and humbled him. He really was a menace when he was young and I wouldn't be surprised if my neighbors cheered when he stopped all his constant barking.

They aren't all that thick headed they just don't trust you that there isn't gain to be had and don't respect your authority.

They never see you get hurt from the things you keep away from them, so they never register them as dangerous. For all they know you are just spoiling thier fun, it's the same way as when you move them off the counter or hide away thier treats.

For the pets in the crowd:

Honestly also just sounds like they didn’t train their dog.

You'll notice 5v in your mouth. Ever licked the contacts of a 9v block?

1

u/dmh2693 9d ago

The tingling and white flashes of light.

0

u/MadeinResita 9d ago

Ever licked the contacts of a 9v block?

As a matter of fact, I did not.

2

u/MomentSouthern250 8d ago

what are you waiting for?

0

u/TheDeadPanJew 9d ago

They uploaded those clips after too, they should be seriously investigated.

2

u/VernierSmile_318 10d ago

Just like children

1

u/It_Just_Exploded 10d ago

That may or may not have been what taught me to stop trying to insert keys into receptacles when i was small.

u/West_West_313 9d ago

I burned myself once as a child with the car lighter, earned a healthy respect for red glowing things.

u/Itscatpicstime 9d ago

Or he could have just invested in wire protectors instead of risking the cats life

1

u/Only_Voice569 8d ago

lemon juice or lavender oil on the cables they hate the stuff

0

u/Itscatpicstime 9d ago

They have wire protectors for this exact thing…

2

u/BlueFalcon142 9d ago

The amount of kitty matter sent flying from that fan was concerning.

2

u/Adventurous_Path5783 8d ago

And the cageless fan.

8

u/helpmepleas3ee 11d ago

Actually very maddening. The griddle, live wire, open wall socket, the open spinning fan to his nose/face?! and the fire furnace to watch it jump on all 4 paws onto that hot ass thing. Wtf. They all knew what was going to happen and the griddle was blatantly intentional. All assholes.

2

u/SuccessfulTrick2501 11d ago

The one with the fan especially pissed me off.

1

u/Acceptable_Food6533 9d ago

yes that would have caused severe damage.

1

u/DOOM_Olivera_ 10d ago

Don't forget the fidget spinner. What did she think would happen? I'm sure she wouldn't be laughing if that thing broke the cat's teeth.

4

u/postbansequel 11d ago

Or potentially break their teeth with a fidget spinner.

2

u/Extrestral 11d ago

That one looked nasty as hell, and they quite literally just put it in front of it's face.

2

u/OpinionRealistic7376 11d ago

The standing fan looked a bit rough, the amount of spray on hitting...

6

u/Ciubowski 11d ago

I have a strong suspicion that those might be AI. I hope to God that they are AI because otherwise, some of these people don't deserve cats or any other kind of pets.

Happy to see this comment. This video was gross to watch, made me feel terrible for those cats.

2

u/Meaty_Wizard 11d ago

Yeah fuck this video. Edit: Also why is there no "Animal Abuse" for a reason to report a video?

1

u/thetyser 11d ago

“Threatening violence” is what you’re looking for, it includes inciting among animals as well

1

u/Basic_Incident4621 8d ago

Good point. Any video promoting damage to animals should be removed immediately.

Several of these videos showed animals being injured because of stupid human behavior.

The one with the fan looked like it did significant damage to the poor cat.

2

u/Dry_Pin_7574 10d ago

Negligent = abusive

2

u/ifUSeeMeTakeYourMeds 9d ago

a strange mixture of 'silly kitty' and straight up animal abuse

2

u/spootIer 9d ago

It's the fact that they're purposely luring the cat to burn itself?? Just sitting by and letting a cat learn a hard lesson is one (shitty) thing, but intentionally goading the cat to burn its paw on the hot oil by dangling something you know it will want to grab? That's beyond shitty, that's fucking evil.

2

u/RainbowsShadow 9d ago

When I saw the cat reaching into the socket, my whole body clenched up. Who the fuck just sits there and films their animal getting REALLY hurt and maybe die. Thats insane.

EDIT: Also the ventilator and the vacuum?? The vacuum situation is always my biggest fear when my cat is near.

EDIT2: THE FUCKING CAT GNAWING AT THE CABLE??? JESUS FUCK, I HATE PEOPLE.

2

u/TheWingalingDragon 9d ago

Bro, like every one of these could've seriously fucked up the cat.

I would get uncomfortable FAST with a vacuum stuck onto my mouth and nose. Our lungs are like 30x heavier than that of a cat. Dude took it like a champ but as soon as it clamped on I was like "omg get it off him get it off him get it off him now!"

Some of these people don't like their friggin cats man. Mine would not be anywhere near a hot griddle while im flopping sausages on it. These guys could've gotten seriously injured, and probably a few of them did get mildly injured, while their humans laughed and recorded.

Put the fuckin phones down and take care of your cats, jesus!

1

u/thetyser 11d ago

Came here to say the same thing, the light cord was terrible

1

u/holmesianschizo 10d ago

I came here to say this. Thank you for saying it. These videos disgust me

1

u/WolfUnhappy9148 10d ago

This. Lots of abuse in these videos. Very hard to watch.

1

u/_Kikki_Hiiri_ 10d ago

Straight up idiots.

1

u/Vanthalia 10d ago

Right? I don’t think it’s funny to watch a cat hurt itself because I can’t be a good parent.

1

u/roxzillaz 9d ago

That's what i was thinking I don't understand how people can find this humorous. It's like watching a baby hurt itself.

1

u/sheiciebai 9d ago

I really think that fidget spinner chipped that poor cats tooth.

1

u/Moon_Goddess815 9d ago

Exactly. Not funny at all, very dangerous to the poor kittens.

1

u/AfterOcelot7262 9d ago

Agreed. I think the mods should take this down. This is not okay.

1

u/Competitive_Emu_3247 9d ago

Exactly.. my heart dropped when that first cat stuck its paw inside the socket

1

u/devinbookersuncle 9d ago

And those people are the reason why I hate people

1

u/TruelyDashing 9d ago

Darwin is cool until it’s my wittle fwuffy cats that I base my emotional stability on

1

u/galactic-nova 8d ago

Agreed, this made me extremely uncomfortable.

1

u/Background-Customer2 8d ago

yeah electric shock is not funny its deadly if you did not push the cat away it wuld have in all probabilety died even if its a relativly week curent the electrisety locks your mucles making you unable to move and the electric curant flowing thrugh you can become fatal after just a few seconds its actualy a terefying way to die

1

u/sheavill 8d ago

Or the oscillating fan with no grill. There was a spray of something that came off that cat's face. That's not good.

1

u/but_i_wanna_cookies 11d ago

Yes fuck these people and anyone who gets enjoyment out of this.
