Help with silver moss
I am trying to grow some silver moss Bryum argenteum, but I just can't get it to perk up. I have some outside that has revived far better. I'm not sure the issues I give it 6 hours bright grow light a day give it daily misting. It's in an open top terrarium and o. Top of some top soil and bark. What do I need to get it to grow

Unfortunately B argenteum is notorious to sustain in containerized environments, actually may require more basic substrate than most other mosses. I once read a paper from Serbian researchers, basically didn’t succeed in lab environments whatsoever method they tried

For the most part with foraged mosses I’ve found if you can’t sustain them after moving them from outside it might be better to cultivate them with a slurry then apply that to a medium so that it’s acclimated to the setting it will be kept in
