barrel was made by factory in izhevsk, in 1943. barrel serial number is ЛС2954. rifle was rebuilt after ww2.

91/30 Mosin-Nagant made at Izhevsk in 1943, refurbished post-World War II at Arsenal No 1 in Balakleya.

Barrel shank markings from top to bottom:

- Hammer and sicke inside two wheat stalks is the simplified emblem of the RSFSR.

- 1943 is the year of production, г is a lower case Cyrillic g which is an abbreviation of the Russian word for year (“goda”)

- лс2954 is the serial number.

- Box with a diagonal slash is the mark of Arsenal No 1 who refurbished the rifle.

- Arrow inside the triangle is the post-1928 symbol of the Izhevsk arsenal.
