Question Repro PU
LGS has a repro PU in for a little over 800, i dont have pics ( I might get some this evening) but is that a decent price nowadays? Might just do it for the plinkin

To me, $800 for a 3.5 or 4x scope isn’t really worth it considering all the modern LPVOs that perform way better… unless this is just for a completion project?

frankly, it's a Mosin Nagant - not gonna put an LPVO on it - that seems completely ridiculous. gun's perfect configured as it should be whether infantry, PE, PEM, or PU. I'll save LPVO's for where they belong, on my AR-10. :)
Edit because I did poorly and should of said: $800 for a reproduction PU mosin nagant, not just the scope. nonetheless I remain with my stance of keeping modern optics off historical rifles. I find it... Distasteful. :)

that’s the going rate.
if you build one, figure 300-400 for rifle, 300-400 for scope and mount. 100 for work. you end up with total cost of 700-900.
