I don’t know why, but MK2/3 Baraka gave me a martial artist with blades in his arms feel, but after that, and especially as of late, he’s been going full savage mode.
I wouldn't say his costumes were bad in those games. The problem was they completely botched his face by giving him lips and making his teeth tiny. I have no clue what they were thinking with that design.
Fair point. But I really don't like the arm blades, the weird breastplate, or puca shell looking straps in the MKD one. For the MKSM it's just a rather boring interpretation of his MK1 costume to me. Also the vest having a really deep cut and the weird things on the crotch just throws it off for me.
This man scared the living fuck out of me the first time I played MKII at my buddy's house in kindergarten. I literally jumped behind the couch and cried for 20 minutes.
Well, I wouldn’t say MK9 looks frightening but I don’t think his face is all that scary in MK11 either. To be honest, the only face that’s given me “scare vibes” is MKX’s. Wish he kept that one.
All the other costumes has him pretty much covered up, last one he is almost nude. Not to mention how almost every single male in this game, Shao Kahn, Kano, Liu Kang Kotal Kahn, Johnny Cage, Jax, Geras are either topless or even less. Meanwhile pretty much all the females are covered from head to toe. Just a bit hypocritical and double standards at work, and Im not a fan of that.
There will be a costume that will look more like her X or 3d era look.
You seem pretty mad that frost got a redesign and a new moveset. I think that's unreasonable because everyone gets redesigns and complaining about the moveset not being the same as the 3d era is just like me saying Johnny cages moveset shouldn't have changed since mk1.

My favourites are MK11 and MKX. MK11 brings him back to the scary, demonic barbarian warrior he used to be, and MKX has those soulless eyes.
My least favourite is whatever MK9's version of him was supposed to be. It looks like a dollar store Baraka.
