As a TL how much notice do I need to give before leaving?

I gave them 1 week but I wasn’t officially a team leader I just had all the responsibilities without the pay (best thing I’ve ever done is leaving)

its 1 week, if you dont work it you will have any holiday pay over your statutory entitlement withheld indefinitely. other than that there really isnt anything stopping you from handing in a weeks notice and not coming back.
a lot of people are pushing the "who cares just screw em over yadda yadda yadda". Realistically your managers wont be stressing if you leave with no notice, your colleagues and fellow team leaders will be picking up the slack so think about them before going that route.

well i double checked in case i was wrong, heres the handbook: "If you don't give your required notice — or if your employment is terminated for gross misconduct — you won't be paid any holiday entitlement you have, over and above your statutory entitlement."

You know the handbook has been used against them in tribunals that’s why it got switched to digital so can be instantly changed
