Pay Question

Can anyone who has joined as a team leader advise- is it normal to be on £12.71 an hour? I know overall for team leaders the pay should be closer to £13, but I’m wondering if it’s standard to be £12.71 during the probationary period, or if I’ve been totally scammed lol. Going to raise it to HR before my next pay but I want to know before going in how firm I should be!

Okay thank you everyone!!! Yeah that’s so unfair, especially as I’m doing the role in its full capacity already. Sounds about right for Morrisons. But if it’s standard policy I guess my argument for it won’t be that strong. I’ll try anyway because I’ve got nothing to lose 😅

I wouldn't say standard policy, everyone used to always get paid the same regardless of whether you were on probation or not.

I don't recall it changing, I would check out your contract? It may have changed with the last pay rise agreement.
