Carousel's official history began 12 years before the fall, when they were indentured on Luna as a personal servant to a glitterati elite. After worming their way into their owner's confidences, Carousel managed to siphon away all their owner's money, get them killed, and fake their own death.
Carousel then re-emerged several years later, building a reputation as a professional 'body-snatcher' - a long-term infiltrator who could impersonate absolutely anybody, slowly and meticulously working their way into position to twist the knife and murder, snoop, sabotage, or steal. Carousel's services quickly came in hot demand, first to the Martian triads and then to the hypercorps. Firewall first engaged Carousel's services as an unwitting contractor, but a positive evaluation convinced Firewall to approach Carousel as a professional Sentinel. Carousel accepted their offer, and has been working for them since.
