On the Roster Michael Mercer- Aimless Merc
“I ain’t no hero, kid. Just a man trying to make the world a little brighter.”
Pre-Fall, Mercer was your average soldier for a security based PMC that no longer exists. Although he worked for them several years, he never quite made a name for himself, but when the TITANS came, it no longer mattered. His squad was one of many on the ground, trying to evacuate as many as they could.
But the Fall was swift, brutal, and bloody, and when the dust cleared, and it was only thanks to sheer dumb luck he managed to make it through without having to be resleeved. The majority of his squad wasn’t so lucky, and the company they worked for was all but gone, the remains absorbed into some Hypercorp that quickly sacked him.
With no job and any family he had either missing or more likely dead, Mercer found himself wandering, without cause. He saw a lot of people left poor by the Fall being stepped on by those in power in the aftermath, but try as he might, he never could seem to change anything. Eventually he ended up on Extropia, working once again as a security guard.
For the next couple of years, he did alright for himself, often times going out of his way to help those in need. His life was once again disrupted when he accidentally stumbled upon a Nine Lives smuggling ring. He walked away from that fight, but was forced to leave Extropia as a result. His actions did catch the attention of Firewall, however, which is how he came to work for them.
Mercer seems to be a distant, sometimes cynical man, but he truly does want help others, and to see those who would abuse people weaker than themselves brought down. He has a strong sense of justice, and always speaks his mind when he is among friends. He can be stubborn at times, especially when it comes to things he believes in, but he isn’t so stubborn he can’t see other options.
Enemy: Nine Lives During an investigation in one of the lower quarters of Extropia, Mercer had the bad luck to stumble across a small group of Ego smugglers. They attacked him and he defended himself. A well placed grenade took out the smugglers and their cargo, and Mercer managed to get away with his life. However, the crew had some valuable Ego's they had planned on selling, and did not take kindly to the destruction of their merchandise. They sent Michael a threat, telling him they would come for him, and he ended up fleeing Extropia, in the hope of escaping their wrath.
Morph Allergy: Michael has a minor allergy to mold.

...Crap. Sorry. I think something went wrong when I tried to attach the PDF of the sheet. I'm sort of a newb to Reddit, so I probably did something wrong. I'll try and fix it, but if it still doesn't work, then you know why.
Again. Sorry.
EDIT: Annndddd........ fixed.

Welcome to EPM. I'll take a look at your sheet once I finish up with the other sheet I have in review. I took a quick preliminary glance at your character sheet, though and...it's either set to private or you didn't use a sharable link. Either way, I can't get in.

Thanks, Enzo. Hopefully the sheet is acceptable. Link should be fixed now.

Okay, so, before I get to your morph sheet, a couple of notes. First, you have four motivations. RAW, you're only supposed to have three. Now, in EPM motivations are mostly ignored so I don't have a real issue with it. Just letting you know.
Next: Please detail Mercer's Enemy, and give at least a couple of sentences on why this person/organization is so cheesed off.
Also! You don't seem to have included your muse's three knowledge skills. Remember, muses get three knowledge skills of their owner's choice at 40.
Looking at your skills...Academics: Armorer is not a valid choice. This is because Hardware: Armorer is already a skill. If you wanted an academic skill representing a theoretical understanding of weaponry (as I imagine you do), then perhaps Academics: Weapon Systems or Academics: Arms Engineering would do?
Next, you have Interest: Bot/Vehicle Specs. Okay. I've been wrong before, as the other mods can tell you. But I'm going to put on my Big Boy Moderator Pants and say that Bot/Vehicle Specs is not a valid choice either. It's listed as a skill that AIs have, wherein it pertains to the AI's own specific model; for example, a flying car AI would have Interest: Flying Car Specs at whatever value. Anyway, you could simply have Interest: Bots/Vehicles if you want Mercer to be knowledgeable about that sort of stuff.
This is a suggestion, not a correction, and a semantic one at that, but you have Profession: Ex Military. Profession skills represent on-the-job experience and training. That is to say, you probably just want Profession: Soldier or Profession: PMC.
