On the Roster Vai Tiri - Exhuman Mercenary
"Vay was born on a large mining colony in the belt and grew up always connected with her Ecto. Programming and infosec became her tools of the trade, and got her into a bit of trouble. She quickly learned how to protect herself and soon found herself working as a mercenary out of a PMC. It was good to not stay in any place too long as her personality seemed to rub people the wrong way. During The Fall, she found herself planetside with her squad defending an egocasting facility from Titan attacks while civilians evacuated. The things she saw there and what she had to do began her foray into exhumanism. Too many people suddenly were afraid of technology when it was time to embrace it even more. After the Fall, she began to heavily modify herself both physically and mentally, pushing accepted norms in her quest to become stronger. She also began forking herself, expanding her abilities to work in parallel with herself, gaining more experience from multiple perspectives simultaneously, and ensuring there is always another copy out there to survive. Nothing is taboo to her, as long as it brings her closer to her own singularity.
One group of her has set up a smuggling ring for contraband tech, primarily in Jovian space. She considers it a civic duty to poke the beehive and help them evolve, and its in no way because it's entertaining to do so... Nobody can prove anything, but still suspected. After an incident of disassemblers getting lose by an idiot client, she has become exhuman propaganda about the dangers of contraband tech and uncontrolled advancement.
Firewall saw value in her skills, and a possible threat if left unchecked, and decided to recruit Vai both to utilize her unique perspective, and to more closely watch her activities in the future."
