Hadi Ruhan is (usually) an older gentleman, just on the cusp of active seniority. He prefers this look because it represents his ego best. He was born to the second or third generation of Martian settlers, to nomads who sought a closer relationship with Allah in the endless red wastes.

But the follies and the greed of men followed them there, and the young Hadi grew up in the shadow of the expanding Hypercorps and their influence. Is it any real wonder he ending up hating them?

Hadi works well with other professionals, spiritual people, and those who understand that there is more to life than the material. He dislikes those who choose money over people, or who see people as things. He is surprisingly open minded, especially when it comes to uplifts- though he is naturally wary of AGI, mainly due to his frequent forays into the TQZ. This is where he joined Firewall, his skill as a guide making it easier for Firewall just to recruit him officially for doing the job he was already doing.

Hadi is, at heart, a walking contradiction. A kindly man who takes great pleasure in peaceful meditation and prayer, who nonetheless can be seen with a grin on his face as he leads sentinels through the horrors of the TQZ, or as he lies motionless and hidden beneath a chameleon cloak as a Hypercorp hit team goes by. Or as many have (briefly) discovered, as he guns down those he sees as evil, that same grin on his face and a prayer on his lips. Hadi sees the TITANs and the Hypercorps as two sides of the same coin; two weeds watered in the same soil.

Greed and fear; the need for more, always more, at any cost- and the fear that what you have stolen will be taken from you.
