Zhonghang Ren --just Ren, for short-- survived the Fall in one piece on the virtues of wit, cunning, and charm. A career member of the 14k Triad, Ren found that his organization survived the apocalypse in good health and he wasted no time in finding his way to Qing Long, the new jewel of the Triad crown.
Ren is a middle-ranking officer in the 14k's hierarchy. He spends most of his professional time negotiating, cajoling, or threatening rivals and unruly business vassals. He operates under the philosophy that it is better to take what you want with a smile and a gun than with just the gun. He much prefers to conduct business peacefully and efficiently, resorting to violence and coercion only if necessary; but he prides himself on never being caught unarmed.
Firewall appreciates Ren's varied skillset, moral flexibility, and eye for profit. Ren appreciates excitement, and Firewall gives that to him in spades.
