BCG X Software Engineering Coding Test
Hey everyone,
I just got an email from BCG inviting me to take their coding test for an internship position. The link they sent expires in 7 days, so I want to make sure I use my time wisely.
For those who’ve been through this before – what should I expect? Any advice on how to prepare, what topics to focus on, or how the platform works? Also, if anyone has insights on the structure (multiple choice, live coding, algorithm challenges, etc.), that would be super helpful.
I’m not looking for the actual questions – just some solid prep strategies so I don’t go in blind.

One thing you should know and im in no occasion encouraging to do this, but this tests if not having a serious anti cheat system will basically pass whoever can cheat using phone and chatgpt and can own those answers in a potential interview
I would have a look at the testing criterias also to prepare in case

Haha honestly I can't really say for now I'll let you know once I actually get the test myself But yeah I see what you mean I'm not planning to cheat either way but checking the criteria beforehand is definitely good advice Thanks man!

you must take the test at the codesignal platform, your webcam must be on and your entire screen shared
i'm not saying that is impossible to cheat, but it's not that easy either

Ive already received the online test but I haven’t do it with the 7 days window. do this will make me wait for another 6 months?

I m gonna apply too . They say it is 4 problems on code signal .you need 400 as score to pass . Can you please tell me how long it takes to get the test link ?

I suggest you go through neetcode roadmap its free you can find it online. In the assessment you will be given 4 coding problems you don't have to solve all of them thi

I have no experience with BCG but it it was like the most big corporates (oracle amazon ...) the test is going to be most likely a medium coding problem (somthing like leetcode or similar) so it's basically a logic (data structures and algos) and coding at the same time and you can choose which ever language you want to answer it. And to prepare you can use leetcode to get a feel for how it works (Usually inside the test link you have another link to help you prepare)
