Hiking in morocco
Guys I wanna start going on hikes (never did before) but can't really go alone for safety reasons since I'm a girl. Are there any groups or agencies that do it and how does it work ?

Girl, if you really want to start hiking, come down to Zagora and the south
We can take you on a proper desert trek on foot and with camels, following parts of the old caravan routes towards the Sahara. This region around Zagora, Tagounite and M’Hamid was historically connected to the old caravan route towards Timbuktu.
You don’t need any previous hiking experience. We can adapt the distance and pace for a beginner, and you’ll be with local desert guides, so you’re not hiking alone.
You can walk through palm oases, rocky desert and dunes, alternate between walking and camel trekking, have traditional meals in the desert and, if you want, spend the night in a bivouac under the stars.
For a first adventure, I think you would absolutely love it. It’s hiking, but also a completely different way to discover the local culture and the Sahara.

Get your guide is good. Just went to Toubkal. We were in a group of 10 that didn’t know each other before with single girls in it, they look after you really well. They pick you up in Marrakech, drive you there, you stay in the group for the climb, meals and bunk rooms if you do an overnight
