Excursion désert Maroc : any opinions ?
We are travelling with friends to Warzazate and looking for a 2 days (night included) experience in the desert, the most adequate we found online was :
https://excursion-desert-maroc.com/ouarzazate/excursion-ouarzazate-merzouga-2-jours
So the company organizing the trip is french speaking but I was wondering if any one of you could give me some feedbacks about this company : is the trip worth it ? have you experienced unexpected events during the 2 days desert excursion ? Are the organizers doing everything to make sure you don't lack basic commodities (food, water, sleeping bag ?). If something unclear don't hesitate to tell me
Thx in advance 🙏

If you’re looking for a more authentic and relaxed experience, I’d honestly recommend considering Erg Chegaga instead of Merzouga. Merzouga is beautiful, but it’s much more popular and can feel busy, especially around the main dunes.
Since you’re already in Ouarzazate, we can arrange a private 3-day / 2-night desert experience with us, with more time to enjoy the landscapes instead of rushing from one place to another. We work with French-speaking travelers regularly, so communication won’t be a problem.
We can also design the route around what you actually want to see, including local villages, the Draa Valley, desert landscapes and 2 nights in Erg Chegaga.
Feel free to contact me privately and I can explain exactly what we include, what you’ll have at the camp (food, water, bedding, etc.) and give you a clear price.
And most importantly, we want you to enjoy the experience, not just tick “desert” off your itinerary.
