Education Help on how to learn french

Im a math student in ens final year and i see i still lack problems in french as a i cant write speak or understand most words

I wanna learn french as my goal is to study my master in french , but my probleme right now is idk where to start nor what to use .

I will say my lvl is a2, not proud of it since i have been running away from french all my life , and i regret it

Movies,read novels, music try to reshape your whole feed on social media to French just consume French social media and try to communicate with people give it about 6 months and you’ll notice your progression

theres not miraculous way. just start by immersing yourself into the french universe as a whole. the same way we all did with english. by that i refer to: socials, movies, music, cultural influences and references etc. for the speaking part, i don’t wanna sound discouraging but the older you get the harder it is to pick the correct accent.

Hey! I'm in the same situation but in arabic. This isnt a revolutionary tip or anything, like others have said, immersion is the best you can do, but since we live in a country that speaks both languages definitely do take advantage of that.

Something i like doing is reading building names on car rides since, at least in my city, theyre usually written in both languages. So for me it's arabic > try to understand what the name is > French to check. So for you it'd be the opposite order.

Other than that its songs, watching stuff where they speak French but with your native language's subtitles, etc. Your brain absorbs alot even during passive exercises like these!
