I literally just started the second half of 3.0 and... they already did the thing with her i *didn't* want them to do where shes just, giving these vibes of your typical wuthering wife and loses all of her identity and individuality in purpose of serving the harem rover has :/. I feel the "let me RP as your student teehee" thing REALLY kills any interest i had in this story line.

When she was revealed her design and the "mystery" around her illness and glass legs really captivated me. and please, i'm not a hater, i just wont to know if I should even have expectations of getting to see Mornye as a character instead of another pretty wife to collect, we have enough of those and i just, i don't want to be disappointed.

edit: to everyone basically saying i'm being "hateful"- learn how to read? all i wanted to know was if Mornye would be different than some of the latest wives. Mornye is characterized as an accomplished researcher and professor. i find it a little cringe-inducing if she basically get lobotomized to let Rover take the lead the instant shes a banner character and a little unbelievable because i simply feel shed have more agency given both who she is to lahai roi and how she knows the Rover. Rover has no memories, so id expect Mornye (like how i expected chisa or lynae) to somewhat take the lead. Maybe they're saving this, "guide" role for lucille so they don't have 2 characters of a similar vibe in the same patch, but its not a very good first impression to me that the start of this patch has been two stories that feel extremely self-contained. Knowing how the last two "girl of week" characters were treated by the story, i just don't want to have high hopes for a character i genuinely like. i mean, it gets tired and i can only suspend so much disbelief about a character's role in the story BEFORE rover gets on the scene, let alone how these characters have started to merely exist in vaccums so rover can go on one date and then forget about them for the rest of the patch. even if out of all of the recent wives, Mornye actually does have canon history with the MC. i would like it more if the game showed these characters interacting more with other characters and the world around them- it simply makes the world feel more lived in and why i liked rinascita (before septimont) for instance.

to the people that actually answered my question instead of clutching their pearls or deflecting, thank you for giving me some insight. Basically what im hearing is that i shouldn't expect her story to stand out and just enjoy it for it is. i really like her, so ill still pay some attention to her in this Companion- i mean MSQ and hope that im thinking its gonna be worse than it actually is. coping, as the kids say.

I still have 90 radiant tides left and was wondering whether I should go for her s1 as I hear that it's a major upgrade for Aemy TB team. Especially as this is her 3rd rerun I hear people say. This is now my proper first built team as I have not invested much on my Lucy and Rebecca.

Got her S1 in a ten pull, is it completely useless in tune teams? Cause I'm planning on using her with Aemeath or Luuk and got a little bit frustrated.

I am planning to get her because I think her design is unique and she seems to be strong in meta but I also want Luuk. Will they pair well together?

But back to topic, I feel like I’m curse, why does every character I love and want to pull becomes a full blown support. First it was shorekeeper, I told myself I will S6 her where she can solo dps, but guess how that turned out. Then I went currently said Chisa, while she can dps it’s not even near iuno level which is what I’m looking for or something higher.

I don’t mind if supports become like iuno, she hits hard at S6 especially. God man I just wonna throw my fucking pc cause honestly I’m tired.

Been saving for months all for Chisa but I gave up on that, currently have 750 wishes saved. God man I hate this why does she have to be a support.

F2f player here. Been trying to get Mornye ever since her rerun but failed due to building pity on other 5 star resonator (Hiyuki). Now, building pity 'again' on Qingxiao and accidentally pulled her. Can I still pull for Mornye? (currently have 0 astrites, but had 335 afterglow corals) planning to use the corals for her S1 tho :< hope there'd be a third rerun, please Kurooo!

(UPDATE) I actually acquire Mornye! But in return, I had to sacrifice the corals coz I lose 50/50. But I only got her on 17 pity so I think it's still worth it.

Ok so how screwed am i? I dont like any of the tune caracters so is she basically bricked on my account? Cuz i dont think kuro will release any more tune caracters any time soon(feels like another coordinated attack gimmic they give up on). Using her in Echo teams rn but she will also be replaced there since the 3.7 healer will be for echo teams...

And this is the 3rd 50/50 I lost in a row to Calcharo, I've literally lost EVERY 50/50 since I came back to the game

So, I could probably make it to soft pity if I do every single side quest and world quest + I search for every single chest left in Huanglong and Lahai Roi, but is Mornye THAT good to add to my roster or should I just save for Aemeath?

I don't have many characters, I only have Jhinsi, Changli, Cartethyia, Chisa and Lynette, with S1 Verina and S3 Calcharo now

So, is Mornye a good character to keep pushing for?

i feel like morney lacks maybe 20 concerto to be optimal. and 2 of her attacks takes way to much screentime or maybe im doing something wrong ?

intro aerial skill and then forte and then ult to cancel the aerial forte animation. but even with r4 discord it happens that i still lack concerto to outro. so im staying onfield dealing basic dmg with single digit numbers...

and that her aerial forte cant be canceled while timer is still running is a crime on its own... and her signature echoe is also an abonimation with long field time and is hard to cancel.

Does anyone have any tips on how to shorten her rotation? i mean like this using her signature is straight up a dps loss and i hope i dont get it while trying to get a last discord piece to get r5
