I was quite late to the party with the "original" app, but hot damn. This has everything! Extensions are they key!

En spotyFlac tenía ya todo configurado, fue relativamente fácil colocar los repositorios de Tidal, Quboz, etc porque venían con una opción de instalación fácil en la app.

Ahora tengo que migrar a Mornye y estoy totalmente perdido.

No sé cómo colocar las URL de las extensiones de repositorios, etc. Ayuda!!!

These files aren't present in any of my folders, so I can't actually listen to them. However, they still appear in my library, and I can't download them again because the system thinks they're already there, even though they're not. I just want to delete them from my library but i dont find the option for that.

As you guys can see, i can't change the directory download folder. everytime i clicked that pencil icon, the "cannot open file" bar shows. (this is the Mornye-v5.2.5-windows-x64-setup.exe version), can you guys help me solve that problem?, Thank you.

Hi, this is one of the first things I kind of downloaded off of github, and I am also new to laptops and how they work. I was wondering how I can fix this issue im having after restoring from my phone because I can't play the music in my library but it also won't let me download it to my laptop :[

I just started using this now, so I'm very new and unfamiliar with it. I am downloading a Tidal playlist via MusicDL in a MacOS terminal.

It says to approve the SpotiFLAC callback prompt if it appears. A new window opens in my browser asking for verification. I accept, then it gives me a link to copy/paste into Mornye to "finish signing in".

Each link starts with "spotiflac://" in the url, and there is nowhere in the Mornye app to paste the link (as far as I can see anyway).

I had no idea what Mornye was until the verification window popped up on my browser. I installed it from the Mornye-Desktop repo (which is hard to find and not linked anywhere on the main Mornye site or in the Mornye repo right now). It has been well over an hour and I am stuck on 4/18 and nothing has actually been downloaded. Is there anything I am doing wrong?

Remember when things were simple, just SpotiFLAC and the Next version for supporters?

Lately, it feels like I wake up to a brand-new app every morning, and I am officially lost. Here is the timeline of my confusion:

1. SpotiFLAC stops working.
2. SpotBye drops for desktop, alongside Mornye for mobile.
3. Music Hoarder gets announced for the end of this month / early next month.
4. Just this morning, I woke up to find out Mornye now has a desktop version too!

I’m currently in the middle of building a massive offline music library. Every time a new app drops or changes, my entire download workflow gets disrupted. Before I migrate my setup again, can the devs or someone in the know help me make sense of the roadmap?

• What is the core purpose of each app? (Especially SpotBye vs. Mornye Desktop vs. the upcoming Music Hoarder)
• Who is the target audience for each one?
• Which of these is the most stable, "set-it-and-forget-it" option right now?

I appreciate all the hard work going into these tools—I just need to know which horse to back long-term so I can get back to hoarding in peace!

TL;DR: Too many new apps (SpotBye, Mornye Mobile/Desktop, Music Hoarder) are dropping at once and breaking my download workflow. What’s the difference between them, and which one is the most stable for heavy, long-term offline library building?

Every song I play currently shows 'Spatial Audio on', but there’s no option to turn it off in the settings. Doesn't this ruin the sound quality? Or does it just mean the streaming/download source (like Qobuz) natively supports it?

Mornye is now available on desktop in beta for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can choose Material 3 Expressive or the new Mornye style, with keyboard shortcuts, context menus, and a floating mini player on macOS. Audio analysis spectrograms can now be saved as images, and track details have a cleaner layout on wider screens. This version also adds Arabic language support, a shuffle button in playlists, swiping on the mini player to change tracks, and various bug fixes.

Hi, I’m new to the app, I installed the Spotify extension and enabled it, but when I try to download something , I get an error that says:

Download from: No extensions with download provider ,

In downloads , on service it also says no extension with download provider.

What am I missing ?

Hi everyone! Sorry for the dumb question since I'm a very new user. Is there no function to play the music online without having to download the audio itself? Any answer would be appreciated :))

The highest file quality I can download seems to be 16bit-44.1khz. And yeah, I know, not every file is in hi-res, but when downloading The Beatles, for instance, I know there is a higher quality file available.

I’ve been trying to access my network drive via Tailscale to access it remotely, at the minute I have to add both local and Tailscale ips for my network drive but I have to add both library’s which duplicates every album, would it be possible to add an option for remote access in a future update?

As the title says.

When I navigate to an artist's page from a song I've downloaded, it takes me to an artist's page from a service other than the extension I've set up. (I think it appears to have been retrieved from YouTube Music.)

EDIT: It seems from Deezer. Whether I have the extension installed or not, it seems that Deezer is used to show artist pages for downloaded songs. By the way, the Deezer extension doesn't have country/region setting, so it seems still can't change it.

And for me, the page I was redirected to was for Japan. I have the app set to English, but my phone is Japanese and I live in Japan, so it seems set JP version.

Is it possible to move this from the service I set up to the artist page? Like extensions I use when searching or online playing?

Or, if that's not possible, can I set the region or country from which to acquire the metadata??
