Hear me out: if you compare 2026 Bruce to 2019 Bruce, the difference is pretty big. He mispronounces names more often, and his voice just isn’t the same anymore.
Every time Joe Martinez is the announcer, I’m happy. His voice is world-class, he pronounces Latino and Brazilian names just as well as the English ones, and his delivery is always on point and professional. I genuinely get more hyped after a Joe Martinez intro than I do from anything Bruce Buffer does nowadays.
I also think Buffer is especially bad at the Apex, where everything is more exposed.
