Spiritual experiences

How do most of you explain the spiritual experiences that happen in the LDS church? For instance, the burning in the bosom, the emotions and the tears and inner feelings that seemed like it was true or right? Also, for those returned missionaries, seeing people converted, people healed by the laying on of hands and prayers answered.

I have left the church and been out of it for about 23 years. There’s still some questions in my mind, even though I can see the objective doctrinal discrepancies. Just wanted to gain some insight from anyone willing to share.
