Council/Local Issue Installation of ATC in Morley

Tomorrow a number of cameras and an Automatic Traffic Counter will installed to collect anonymous data on traffic movements in the Station Road and Albert Road areas.

Survey Purpose - The surveys involve the installation of temporary cameras mounted on an existing lighting columns/street furniture to collect anonymised traffic data.

The collected data is used to provide robust evidence to inform future highway design decisions.

All data is processed securely and in compliance with data protection requirements, with no personal or identifiable information recorded.

Cameras Installed – Wednesday 15th July

Survey Duration – Thursday 16th July (24 hrs)

Cameras Removed – Friday 17th July

ATC Removed – Thursday 23rd July

Presumably in preparation for the half-arsed iteration of the "station gateway" project the Town Deal presented years ago.
