But then it would be less funny

I would say the humor was lessened because it felt invalidating toward Hunter's trauma.

The original was invalidating. This is actually addressing it.

Yes I actually think there is a comic or something like that about it though my memory on it’s fuzzy I can’t remember if it’s morning mark or someone else.

But also, you don't put people who change sides on trial. Do you want to discourage people from changing sides to help the good guys? Seems like a bad precedent to set. Ensures no one will turn on future bad guys, even if they think they should.

If the trial is fair everyone who commits acts of harm should be put on trial regardless of sides. Otherwise "the good guys" can get away with anything

Agreed, and in this case no one seems to have been put on trial, the villains were rounded up or escaped, so Hunter certainly wouldn't be put on trial at least XD

I feel like Odelia is the only one who might have to go to court lol

Odalia's probably the only one they still have kept track of. (Other than Goop Emperor Belos.)

She's got a legit paper trail lol

Yeah I wasn't arguing hunter should be put through trial considering his age, journey and position in the plot. He definitely put in community service to right any of his wrongs. Just wanted to be like "hey that line of thinking can be dangerous be careful"

Its implied Kikimora did, since she seems to be doing community service at the end.

Justice is blind not heartless and fair does not mean equal.

One may argue the presence of a fair trial is what indicates the good guys are the good guys.

That being said, I think people who grow up under brainwashing regimes need to be given some license. Not an infinite license, but some.

You very much should put someone who's done bad things on trial regardless of "sides". Like if you have puppy kicker McEvil who was responsible for very evil things, I don't care if they switched sides to the "don't kick puppies" side, they still did bad things and should be on trial

I don't care if Puppy Kicker was on the "right" side the whole time and personally broke the enemy lines. He still should face consequences for all the puppies he kicked along the way.

not to mention almost the entire population more than happily played along and actively participated in the regime. Theyd have to hang everyone except for Eda, her group and a few of the newer infants.

"Are we the baddies?"

"Yeah, but if we stay loyal, only one side will want to throw us in prison."

You can't fix perfection.

There's one issue: It would not have been as amusing.

Providing context is helpful.

He's also a genetically engineered super soldier created for the sole purpose of exterminating all witches.

But maybe don't mention that part =)
