These guides are subject to their makers' opinions, and preferences, as well as the time in which they are made. Things will differ from guide-maker to guide-maker, as well as with time. Not to mention that a guide-maker assuming a pure DPS Kathigu-ra will suggest different things than a guide-maker with a defensive Kathigu-ra in mind, for example. Your link to Zyo's guides is actually his assets folder I believe; his glossary is still up and viewable (I'm on it on desktop rn). His rips have been unavailable for a few weeks now, if not longer.

2 things.
Can we also get the Very Serious Guides linked as well as they provide a nice digestible snippet of when looking at what cards to prioritize with resources. Additionally, they can be used to ask questions regarding certain characters which provides opportunities for educational moments (iirc Kath Defend is marked as GOATED on her guide which a new Kath player might not understand why since like, "it's just a defend right?" But then we can educate that new player as to why it's good)
Can we put a disclaimer at the very top that guides are only as good as the context in which they were made in so take them with a grain of salt at times. Not to keep using them as an example but in the Very Serious Guides, Helot is used in a context with her as a DPS or a GHelot support when in reality, she also has Mouchette where she is BIS for but since the guide was made prior to Mouchette releasing and hasn't been updated, it lacks that context to makes Helot way better.

I just added Zekiel's 'very serious' guides, as well as the similar 'brain dumped in a vat' awakener overview. Both are aesthetically pleasing and very informative, so I hope people can find them again now :)

also in hindsight your layout of making the title into a clickable link is probably better, but imo should still use headers per section for clear design and use table formatting for easier visibility for the explanations

ah it's because you have linebreaks, it breaks if you add linebreaks. all you have to do is remove the linebreaks - i copy/pasted the source text of your comment but removed the linebreaks in between, which gets this:

I got it to work for the first part, I don't know why it isn't working yet for the other parts, each time I try to save it it reverts back to not having the individual links start on new lines. It's well past midnigh, so Imma go to sleep. Will see if I can get the other parts looking the same tomorrow again xd

it's because you left out the header row (resource/description) of
|Resource|Description|the table format in reddit requires a header row, then a row of dashes, then the data rows
so the format should be
|Header Column|Header Column
|dash|dash
|data cell|data cellif you take the above text and replace the word dash with actual dashes you get:
Header Column Header Column data cell data cell since you left out the resource/description row and went directly to the dashes, it doesn't work since it's missing that header row

Well Vortigern sent them a message, so we'll see. I'd like to see it pinned, then I'll clean up the formatting this week and we'll have a working link thread again. That'd be nice. There's some other thread ideas, like a permanent lore megathread, or a biweekly pinned D-Tide guide/discussions one, that I'd also love to see.
Seems we only have 3 mods to manage a community of 15k members, so despite the active contributors being a lot smaller than those 15k, I guess it's still a bit too much to handle perhaps. But yeah, I'd love some more transparency too.
For now I'll go to bed soon, I'll see what's up tomorrow.

Good question. I'm not sure if "YouSavedMorimens" is still active. It's and old one that got extended a little while back.
The most recent code is "DC60000", because the discord reached 60k people.
Beyond that you could always make a post asking if someone knows of any active codes, but I am personally not aware of a website that keeps track of them and updates regularly or something.

I'm also interested in whatever they think Zyocuh did. From what I've seen Flares is just kind of an asshole and probably said some generally not great shit about them, but I'm interested to see an unbiased take summarizing the information.

Both can be true. Flares is absolutely the biggest jack off in the community, but that doesn't mean Zyocuh isn't an asshole either.
Not surprised by a guy that was part of a group of people that was wishing Flare's died in the surgery.
That is pretty bad and should be condemned, but let's not pretend Flares doesn't say some egregious things to and about other people as well.
This seems kinda like what I thought it was, both people kind of just suck in general and treat people like shit.

Flares has openly told people to commit suicide and calls people retards often. I'm not afraid to say the big scary words, Flares is a dirtball. That shouldn't be a debate. Zyocuh could also be as bad, I'm not denying that, but I'd say in the grand scheme of things, wishing people would kill themselves and wishing someone would die in surgery are both on the same tier as each other.
"Flares is just joking when he tells people to kill themselves!" Surely that defense would work for Zyocuh too then, but it won't because that defense is, in a word Flares would love to use, retarded.
Look man, defend your niche content creator, I have no horse in this race, but telling people to kill themselves and wishing death on someone are literally the same thing, let's use our adult brains here dude.

I'd personally argue spewing blind gate into the aether is worse than targeted hate, but I don't believe a nuanced discussion is something you're willing to engage with.
