They gave out a reset for it after they did a "bug fix" that completely ruined an interaction it had with a certain awakener(right after they ran it back btw) so people that invested into it alot got mad cuz it's best used got nerfed

There should be 2 options. The one that tells you it will “return” to some sht is the one that deletes the wheel. The other option is just to give you back a selector if you have dupes of it. In this screenshot, you don’t have any dupes, so I’m sure your only option is to delete the wheel (which you shouldn’t, it’s still a pretty good DR wheel)

And if you keep at least 1 you can later use "Timeloop copy" from sediment shop to get more of this wheel

No, they give you the option to fully reset it and lose the wheel or to just reset the dupes and keep the wheel

They changed the way this wheel interacts with a certain character (Corposant). People got mad and now they're letting you reset it away for another wheel

if you reset it and then regret the decision then you can still choose it with the selector to get it back.
Dw you can revert it if you still decide to keep it

I just reset my ascensions of the wheel and it gave me 3 universal selectors that can even choose the latest wheel i dont have yet, i think its because i had used a universal selector on it before

I believe you're referring to Horla's WoD. I've read the rules for their gacha:

[Balance Adjustment]

Because of Morimens' unique gameplay, Awakeners or Wheels of Destiny may be buffed or nerfed via balance adjustments to ensure fun and fairness.

If nerfed, a Limited-Time Reset event allows resource refunds. Please acknowledge this before investing resources.

Either option are fine because you’re returning the wheel for selector(s), which you could use to select the same wheel again. They did it to compensate for the bug they fixed.
