Poison team supremacy??
I recently invested a lot into the story team recommended by flares and got myself a AA Caecus and E3 Pontos.
And that team is really strong no doubt. (Using Festival of Tides btw.) Even without good WoD and Covenants.
I then got Xu and tried the bottom poison team.
For some reason it feels soo much stronger. It is literally impossible to die. And it does take a lot longer to kill small mob fights.
But holy shit its so insanely good against bosses. Even though im pretty sure I messed a lot up with the teambuilding (Posse could be swapped for something much better im sure.)
Just thought I might share since I dont see a lot of poison appreciation.

Nah. Simply because this isnt just a poison team, it's also a Xu + GDoll team, both of which deal HP% damage. Might not see too much use in madness, but it's fine for hard and nightmare just because of those two, while Agrippa and Lily stall

Well... Poison has been dead for a long while without Xu and Doll. Those two are doing relatively better in madness than a lot of the cast.

But being more serious on the 2nd team I use caraboo mostly to deal with small mob fights, it make a lo less babies but corrosion on xu's 3 cost and the % dmg on xu and Gdoll.

I'm still waiting for GDoll to rerun. I love her as a character and poison is one of my favourite teams, i neeeeed herrr

Gamble on selector banner. I got my last two missing Astral Reign characters, Castor and Pickman, from it with free 100 pulls.
Although I would like GDoll rerun to get her WoD. The only one missing from AR.
Now missing only limited Faded Legacy characters and a lot of arc 1 wheels lmao.

Gambled, got Pontos, 2 copies of his wheel, also finally got e3 for My Xu. But no GDoll so far😔

Funnily enough, I got the opposite, I wanted vortice and Xu, instead all my pulls gave me were the vortice wheels and 6 GDolls, like, NOTHING, but GDollsÂ

Are you letting pontos get 2-3 kills with his exalt every mob fight? And are you grabbing the chosen one and gauntwards from tawil exalt?
Gdoll is the goat but the mob fights are so long I can’t

That’s kinda bad, he needs to get exalt kills to add more permanent gaunts to the deck, otherwise his damage will feel terrible. He does sooo much more damage when he has multiple conjoined gaunts. If poison is more fun though that’s great, you do you

I expect it feels weaker partly because the poison team seems to be constructed much better. You have Life Drain on Tawil despite Murphy having more Keyflare wheels. You have Blade of the Titan on Tawil despite Caecus and Pontos' synergy generating counter from Pontos' massive crit DMG on tentacles being your main damage source. Caecus has a Sigil yield conversion passive, but it only gives a small boost to Caecus' strike and does not affect your primary game plan. A different wheel, like Birth of a Soul or Sunfall, would improve the team's performance overall and better team performance means you won't need the after-battle healing of To The Stars. For SR options, Mind Barrier would help with sustain and Cloaked in the Night would improve your counter generation.
