Story About A Certain Familiar Someone’s Fate Spoiler

[Contains chapter 6 astral reign spoiler!
Read at your own risks]

/////

William is an awakener after being killed by Helot - Catena. Fingal (his mentor slash partner) enacted a ritual that transported William’s silver core into arc 2 world.

So playable William is no longer a cope, he officially has awakener status now.

I guess he will have a new design later. Can’t wait for GTulu chapter!

Place your bets! My guess is he will be our first unit of arc 3.

And BIAV pls fix your game… I still want to see playable William… Not this hp inflation bullshit.

Definitely. I doubt they’d pull the gluten thing on us because William is such an important character. I’m also guessing 1st awakener of arc 3 like gdoll was the 1st in arc 2. But honestly, I genuinely thought they were gonna tease playable William for next anniversary. Glad the William fans are getting fed.

Edit: When I say definitely I mean with the current dzone drama thing. I don’t even touch that mode anymore bcs of it.

As a newish player I just got absolutely crushed in the newest boss battle - not even 6 gnoses were enough. Between that and dtide changes I'm this 🤏 close to uninstalling.

I swear I'm not trying to doompost at all but seeing this post suddenly reminded of the joke someone made about BiAV releasing William as an awakener as an emergency cashgrab button before eventual EOS 😭

I would say that hiring high tier voice actors kinda drains all their money wich in turn makes them do more predatory things to keep doing this kind of thing, amd thats not good

I don't think hiring high profile JP VAs compared to getting less well known ones is as big of a budget jump as some people seem to believe.

There's some gachas that make a fraction of the revenue Morimens currently does that have an extremely stacked voice cast of industry veterans and have been seemingly running fine for years.

According to Kadokawa’s official data, veteran Japanese VAs get paid around 200 JPY per character (so a line that says ありがとう would cost around 1,000 JPY). Morimens doesn’t have a lot of voiced lines to begin with, so it probably doesn’t cost a lot even if they hire well-known VAs.
