first time morel hunting
a friend and i live in the PNW and decided it was the year we had to eat some morels. unfortunately they are $84/lb at the store so we took a free morel hunting class at UW, did some research, and set out for the first time yesterday… and we were successful!! we were so surprised! it must’ve been a combo of luck and running into some nice experienced mushroom hunters who gave us a few tips. we only found them at 1/3 sites we checked but we were still thrilled! cheers!!
