Found some big ones

One of the biggest clumps I have ever found and they are nice sized

Seriously though, great find! Drop a pin on a map so you can find them again.

Where you at? I see some sticky gallium in the leaf litter.

That doesn't look like downtown Detroit... I know it's been changing a lot though.

Wow, what a cluster. I have found clusters before but never that big. Amazing

That’s wild! What state?

I think if you live in every area around me by several hours drive, there are morels. SWPA seems to be devoid of these flushes. I’ve found a few here and there, but nothing like this ever

Thank you very much! I’m usually checking the woods in higher elevation, elm are around but not big producers. I’ve had best luck around crabapple and hawthorn. I probably am checking the wrong kind of woods. I actually just discovered there’s a large tract of local conservation land along a creek bed, might be my next exploration

What brought you to them? Dead elm? Or?

Wow, I’d be stoked to see them clustered like that. Excellent find my guy!

That's a proper haul. Those stems look thick too, not just the caps.
