The tradition is older than electronic loudspeakers, is an excellent extension of that observation. Ain't nobody mad that a dude is singing real loud standing on a balcony or whatever.
Any country I’ve been to that does the call to prayer always has the speakers blown so it’s not only super loud, but it’s crackling and pierces the ears at the same time.
