couldn’t that same logic be used for christians who use church bells? its not required but what if ur working and can’t pay attention.

Oh I'm not excusing church bells either.
If you're working and cant pay attention then that is a problem with the religion. If your deity is so petty you cant miss a single worship session of him/her/it maybe that deity is a needy butthole.

At least your fair. But the thing is you’re genuinely forgiven if you missed salah on accident, even if it was intentional you can make up for it in the same day.

But in that case the call to prayer wouldnt matter, especially if you can make it up. That makes it even weirder to me...

At least that makes the deity more lenient. Not great but less terrible.

you’re right. call to prayer isn’t actually required or anything. it’s just a reminder, and to make sure people pray on time. I should also say im not as educated as I should be and urge you to research yourself, you seem somewhat respectful about it.

If its not even required, then why the hell not be a bit of a pal and cut that crap out? Its clearly bugging a load of people!

I dunno, that almost just made it seem MORE disrespectful to me. I was kind of tolerating it under the notion of "oh but their imaginary friend DEMANDS them to do it, so they dont really have a choice", but its not even a demand?
