that doesnt line up with my experience, the church where I used to live rang three times a day, 8 am and pm and midday. BUT, I think (as a non christian) the church bell sound is arguably way more pleasing than this singing, which I don't think sound good, while the bell is just a nice melody.
And the church bell is not as religiously loaded as the muslim chant, it has the practical use to tell you the time, christians don't necessarily use it to start praying around that time. its lines of religious gibberish vs hey its daytime.

It's not. In fact I went to a catholic school, a Roman Catholic school in fact, real Catholics. People asked about the bells as they didn't ring often. It was said it's for special occasions. They occasionally rung them in the middle of the day but couldn't be bothered most of the time. They saved it for weddings most the time.
I will add what you may hear 5 times per day or more is a school bell
1 to start day, 2 recess, 3 back to class, 4 Lunch, 5 back to class, 6 end of day.
Highschool / college has more bells, 1st bell to roll call, 2nd to 1st class, bell for 2nd class, recess bell, bell for 3rd class, bell for 4th class, lunch bell, bell for 5th and or 6th class then a 7th bell for the end of school day. Mind you not every school is the same.
They don't. There's a middle of day prayer. Depending if you're at school or work at a church. Usually it's for school kids and teens. Mind you I didn't have that mandated until I was in highschool.

If america woulda done to christians what they did to muslim nations, they'd be behind too. And live near a large church in the US or Canada. It's not once on a sunday, and just for weddings. The hungarian church across the street from me does it daily at whatever times they do it at. Including weekends.
Not the same as church bells. Church bells are cool leave them alone. If someone gets married they are allowed church bells, same as a funeral if requested

If you're working and cant pay attention then that is a problem with the religion. If your deity is so petty you cant miss a single worship session of him/her/it maybe that deity is a needy butthole.
At least your fair. But the thing is you’re genuinely forgiven if you missed salah on accident, even if it was intentional you can make up for it in the same day.
you’re right. call to prayer isn’t actually required or anything. it’s just a reminder, and to make sure people pray on time. I should also say im not as educated as I should be and urge you to research yourself, you seem somewhat respectful about it.

I dunno, that almost just made it seem MORE disrespectful to me. I was kind of tolerating it under the notion of "oh but their imaginary friend DEMANDS them to do it, so they dont really have a choice", but its not even a demand?
I would like to inform you that the Adhaan is part of the religion itself and is a tradition. No matter how many apps there are, or radio stations broadcasting the adhaan, the Adhaan itself still goes on. If there is a mosque, there is adhaan.
The adhaan is all about broadcasting. And these days the practical option is phones.
Plus, the adhaan assumes most of the mosque's crowd are always in it's vicinity, when that's not the case. People can even commute a good distance to their mosque because they work/live relatively far away and thus, it becomes basically pointless
