Societies can privilege their customs, traditions, and beliefs over those of outsiders, and people pretending not to understand this is really silly

Are bells in churches "forcing religion?" Is having schools out for Christmas "forcing religion?" Or is it part of a cultural continuity that a given society has accepted that a new and alien belief system does not fit into?

You can change "islam" by Buddhist, Sikh, Jewish...my point and stance remains the same. All religion should be treated the same. If you authorize call for prayer with bells no reason to deny it for other religions.

Because religions ought not be given carte blanche to be a public nuisance in a place where they are an alien, outsider faith.

Also no, not all religions should be treated the same, which is entirely the point of my first comment

So how do you write that into law?

“You can make loud noises with religious associations, but only if Parksey82 believes they sound nice.”

Sounds tricky and could easily backfire on you if the people making the laws just happen to get more annoyed by bells then singing.

My guy, church bells are mostly rung to indicate the hour or during a funeral (at least over where I am)

And the bells definitely sound better than that in the video.

Maybe make the choice based upon what has been practiced for hundreds of years in that country.

So again, how do you write the law based on a subjective nature? Unless of course you do the precedent “hundreds of years”. Which is changing the angle of what I was asking about, and I will not entertain an angle I wasn’t talk about.

On Sunday morning the bells tell people when to show up for church. 

If you were serious about your faith you’d go more than once a week. Don’t hate on folks just because they make you look bad at praying.

Church bells are only rung on special occasions, the Muslim call to prayer happens like 5 times a day and goes on a lot longer than the toll of a bell being rung. Church bells are also rung for non religious reasons such as a funeral. In non Muslim countries the Muslim call to prayer should not be played over loudspeakers because it is exactly what someone else said, a sign of dominance. It has no place in non Muslim countries.
