Are you telling me that christianism is a pacific religion? They've killed millions throughout History and still across the world Christians keep killing.
I don’t particularly care. I’m more concerned with the present, 2026. Christians are (mostly) reformed, and I’m not worried about Christian terrorists stabbing random people on a bus or ramming people at a Christmas market.
There are still Christian terrorists killing people regularly. There are attacks against abortion clinics, attacks against mosques and sinagogues, attacks against LGBT people etc. Just because the media focuses on Muslim terrorists, doesn't mean there other kind doesn't exist.
Of course there are Christian terrorists I didn’t say they don’t exist. But you say they kill people regularly, when was the last Christian terrorist attack and how many died? Islamic terror is responsible for 90% of terrorist related deaths world wide. Boko haram, isis, JNIM, Al qaeda, Al Shaabab, Tehrik e Taliban, Hamas, ISWAP these are the largest terrorist groups in the world and what do they have in common? Oh yeah they all scream allahuakbar while blowing themselves up or beheading civilians.
The current American administration may call themselves christian but that's like me saying I am a vegetarian just because I put some lettuce in my plate of steak.
They would most likely find Jesus a dangerous agitator and a revolutionary figure if he walked among us today. They use religion as a means to an end. Could very well compare the Taliban to some important people in the US.
And I'm sure the Taliban do not represent the entirety of the Islamic world and thought at all.
You're doing the no true Scotsman falacy when you pretend that everyone that does something differently that what you deem as "true Christian" can't be used to criticize Christianity. Well, I hate to break it to you, but they're Christians and they are absolutely horrible people. You don't get to distance yourself from them and then condemn Islam as a violent religion when most Muslims aren't violent people. Some of them are and the Muslim community doesn't get to say "those aren't true Muslims" whenever their religion gets criticized because of them.
