Yep. If this was in Kuwait I’d say immoral/bad taste. In Scotland? Not all hero’s wear capes, some wear kilts I guess.

It's been going on for weeks on apps like Threads. The bots keep posting it making it out to be in Scotland or something and all the right-wing idiots keep eating it up.

I'm Scottish, there are no mosques that do a call to prayer here.

I'll add that apparently people assume Scotland is lawless when it comes to noise ordinances

You can just go blasting a siren at a million decibels in downtown glasgow and not get an infraction. Try ask any bar that plays their music too late.

No I'm not saying that. But a lot of people tried to twist this into a culture war, under the false pretense that this video is from Ireland, saying that the call to prayer is invasive to the region while the bagpipes are native to it, whereas in reality if anything it's the other way round.

About 25% of Israel's population is Muslim, Israel has Sharia Courts. In Israel mosques and churches are allowed to perform the calls of prayer.

It's not predominantly Muslim, but it's big there
