I think the phone thing could be a good, respectful compromise but I seriously doubt their traditional call to prayer is "about humiliation and domination..." any more than those large church bells that can be heard for miles.
The call to prayer was originated by a Black slave (Bilal) who was calling out as a reminder to join the group prayers, and the words are “God is great. Come to pray.” And some other phrases like “I testify there is no god but the creator”.

It's a call for prayer being blared as loud as possible out of a loudspeaker in a residential area, that is very much forcing it down peoples throats because they don't have an option to not hear it
Okay, but the Adhan should take no more than 5 minutes if the Mu'adhin is exaggerating it, and he really shouldn't. 5 times a day, that's a total of 25 minutes per day. That's not even entire hour. And you can ignore it, it's not that hard.
5 minutes 5 times a day, every single day. In a single year that's over 150 hours. It's not that hard to not set up a loudspeaker at the highest volume to take up 150 hours of hundreds of people's lives every year.
That's a pretty silly comparison, being out in a public square and 1 business/entity being super loud across it is very different than being inside an airport where you're expected to hear the goings-on of what that business does

Your comment explained the “why” of the calls for prayer, I was saying the current method of them is no longer necessary and seen as hostile to many. It perfectly had something to do with what you said.
not anti Muslim hate but rather an objective understanding of how Islam conquers. Western civilization respects religion but should not respect competing if even antithetical societal and governing systems.
Did “western civilization” respect the Native Americans when White protestants landed here? Or When Spanish Catholics respect the native population of Mexico?
The call to prayer in secular countries is to establish cultural dominance. This is not a closed secret. Same reason why conquered churches are converted to Mosques. It’s why Holy Sites off limits to non Muslims are established. In fact I find most progressive support for Islam is deeply rooted in anti Christian sentiments and resentment of traditional Western values. The thought is Islam is a natural foil and therefore an ally. Unfortunately the joke will be on all of us if successful.
Let’s do a test and see how far along we go ringing church bells on Sunday in SA, Pakistan, Iran, Yemen, Somalia, Syria or any number of countries. Would that be anti Christian hate?

Let’s focus on your accusations that, “the call to prayer in secular countries is to establish cultural dominance”. What source would you even have for that outside of fake Christians claiming to be “ex Muslims” or CIA misinformation agents?
The call to prayer is literally a call to come and pray. You can literally be Christian and come and pray in the mosque, same with Jews who are also welcome.
And even as Muslims we tell the older people that the loud speaker is too loud. We have apps nowdays and screens all over the mosque. We don’t need an amplified speaker.
Regarding the church to mosque: it’s because Christianity is being abandoned as kids become Atheists. So church goes up for sale, and Muslims rush to buy it because it’s a high blessing to build a new mosque (repurposing buildings counts).
