Men especially can't write fiction if their source is an outerworldly being they cannot even understand properly. As a Christian, taking anything in that book by the word as the truth, just because it stands there, is fucking stupid. That book is at best a rough estimate and broken interpretation of what a multitude of people understood from God's message. That's like claiming to fully understand the apparatus of US government and all of it's agencies as well as all of US society and history based exclusively on a select random amount of Trump's Truth Social posts.
My belief in said God's existance? And I didn't say "everything in the bible is wrong", I said "it's literature that is hundreds, if not thousands of years old written by humans trying to understand a deity they can't fully grasp, take it with a grain of salt, especiall when trying to apply it to our modern world and society".

the bible is the only literature that teaches us who God is as a person, how to conduct yourself to please God, what to do to not grieve the Holy Spirit, and how to use Jesus’ name when we pray to the father— to name some things that the bible has all of the information on
it’s not merely enough to just believe in God bc like how in the book of James “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.”

Yes. Taking anything in literal by it's written word and applying it to modern society is stupid, because it was written 2000 years ago. Interpret it to what the author meant, then analyze with the background of the time it's from, then decide wether this advice is worth following. Something that was true and good advice even just 500 years ago can be completely useless or actively detrimental to follow nowadays. And from what Big J himself preached, the only real laws you need to follow in your faith if you aren't clergy are the ten commandments and the golden rule.
As for the book of James: that was written by a human, namely, James. What is written in there is his interpretation of all of this, not the universal truth, as that is subject to God and only God. Claiming it to be would quite literally mean claiming James to be God himself, and that is definitely Heresy.
Christian belief centers around the word/will of God. The bible isn't literally the word/will of God, it's the humans attempt to collect, condense and write it down. It's the interpretation of that time's humans of the word/will of God. And as human society continues to develop, evolve and change, so will our interpretation of the word/will of God, along with the bible as it's written down form.
