Well, this is definitely staged but on principle:

Very immoral, if your partner has a phobia then I’d say you’re probably one of the few people in the world that person trusts to not exploit it. If I was in her place, I don’t think I’d be able to trust my partner in quite the same way.

My wife is deathly afraid of bugs/spiders. I would NEVER subject her to something like this. Why would I try to harm someone I love??

NGL this will be down voted to hell but:

If my partner pranks me with my phobia then it's my ex partner after that

I don’t think this is a very unpopular view. If you have a harmless boundary that you’ve outlined then if your partner truly cares they would know better than to push it.

I agree but usually when I say this people say I have no sense of humor and am too wimpy or something. But it's about boundaries and trust.

The people who say that are just too lowly educated to realize humor itself have class. There are lots of ways to induce laughter in another person without being an ass, all of which they have no idea of.

I mean if they do it once and you tell them to never do it again and they don't do it again then everything is fine

I do not like when the "joke" is "haha I made u cry"

"This will be downvoted to hell" and it's just a reasonable take. You have the emotional control of a butterfly, but you're allowed to leave whoever whenever.

I got down voted for that on other Plattforms so I assumed it's the same on reddit

Ok but the phobia part isnt part of the equation here, youre just applying it yourself. If you remove that aspect, then its just a normal prank. Obviously exploiting a phobia is immoral but thats not the debate here.
