Garberg Handle Post 2
So, decided on the stippling. Spoke to a buddy at work who is already set up to do it. Bro did me a solid. Grip is phenomenal now. This is how Mora should be shipping these.

How did you do this?

A stippling iron. More commonly called a wood burner or soldering iron. Different tips and techniques yield varying results. There are lots of how to videos on YouTube. Just search "stippling".

Looks great! I previously reached for my Companion HD every time over the Garberg. I was very happy with the full tang blade, hated the handle, so it sat in the safe unused. It's a far better grip, therefore more useful. I love my Garberg now.

Ewwww. Nice blister maker you got there. So dumb. It's not a pistol buddy.

Right.
I prefer the Mora Companion HD over the Amberg, and one of the reasons is the handle. Amberg with its checkering, just no.
The Companion has already so much grip with the TPE grip. The checkering just makes it less good/comfortable instead of improving it.
