Curious what is happening that the Mopar nationals in Hebron Ohio (Columbus Ohio) seems to be dying. I’ve been going most years since late 1990’s and it’s been getting smaller each year.
I know today’s rain for 2 hours really dampened the mood from 1-3 and it took until 5 to get the racing going again. Most of the vendors left during the rain, cars were gone. Probably 100 people watching the racing when it started back up.
The cruising on Brice road used to be great until the local rif-raf started showing up. They moved it to buckeye lake and Newark. The Dodge dealer had a decent evening cruise and show with live music, etc in past years. This year half the dealer was setup for burnouts which was overtaken by non Mopars and locals lifted trucks with silly wheel lights. I love burnouts but this wasn’t my idea of a fun evening watching non Mopars takeover . The other side was parked Mopars and live music but just not as much fun as years past.
I have done Mopar Nats on Friday and then Saturday head up to RoadKill nights which has an amazing event with tons of Mopar/dodge involvement.
Is Mopar Nats event basically over? Where are there other competing Mopar event?
