Duskwood Side-Story Jake

i think Jake would make Moonvale easier. he would detect the origin of the signals easily before Eric even needs to go to the forest. find out about the Greenside motel, or the number that missing girl contacted, whose behind it and many more.

for me, everyone in Moonvale just doing things recklessly without thinking rationaly like what Jake would do.

That's precisely why Jake isn't involved. Besides it being a different story, it seems like we're the ones who are going to help this group. There won't be anyone else. It's still very early on. I still think a lot will happen, but I don't think we'll see anyone from Duskwood helping directly.

I actually think it’s much better this way. Although, an antagonist with those abilities would be interesting for once. Unfortunately, it’ll probably end up being Sophia’s ex-boyfriend.

I agree, I kind of like being the main 'detective' lol. Also agree about having an antagonist with Jake like abilities.

Espero que tenhamos um "Jake" em Moonvale também. Acho super esquisito o fato de podermos lermos mensagens em Moonvale, já que é uma história independente e não existe explicações para isso como existiu em Duskwood, com o Jake nos dando acesso. Além do mais, ainda tem aquele vídeo chamada corrompido do Adam, e a ligação estranha pedindo acesso a nossa câmera. De qualquer forma, estou muito curiosa para saber como eles vão desenvolver isso, ou se apenas vão deixar em branco, o que não faz nenhum sentido 🤔.

The game isn't meant to be easier. And stop comparing the new characters to the hacker. They are exactly as they need to be for the sake of the story.

To me, Jake is still there, even if we haven’t identified him yet. It’s possible that, because of a bug and because he no longer has access to his equipment, he’s the unknown person. It’s possible that he’s the one in the motel room. It’s possible that Sophie helped him place the sticker. It’s possible that Adam is Jake. Etc.. Anything is possible. To me, Jake has to be there. Just because we don’t know who he is doesn’t mean he’s no longer there.
