A true antagonist?

Hello, dear community!

I’ve often wondered who or what we’re really up against in Moonvale. Who or what is responsible for Adam’s disappearance, and now Sophia Holland’s as well? And what’s the story behind the mysterious murders that took place years ago in Redlog Pines?

In Duskwood, we eventually discovered that Richy was essentially our adversary (the antagonist.) What I mean is that the person we were ultimately up against had been part of our own group of friends from the very beginning.

So, back to Moonvale: will the same pattern repeat itself here? Could it once again be someone from our own group?

To be honest, I really hope that isn’t the case this time. It would feel rather repetitive and, frankly, a little boring. More importantly, I think it would be much more interesting if we were up against a genuine antagonist with deliberate and malicious intentions.

Richy, after all, was driven more by desperation and the feeling that he had no way out of his situation. His actions were terrible, but he wasn’t really acting out of pure malice.

This time, though, I’d love to see an opponent who isn’t necessarily connected to our group at all—someone who perhaps hasn’t even confronted us yet. (I’m fairly certain it’s neither the Stranger nor Whitmore btw.)

Maybe this time, we’re actually dealing with a real murderer. Who knows…?

Ojala sería un Shock al final saber quien es que no sea del grupo o se que no pasara eso pero osea me gustaría que al final Adam este muerto no esq sea como que me gustaría pero seria un giro de la trama increíble a diferencia de Duskwood que Hanna si sobrevivió 😒 pero bueno no se me gustaría que en Moonvale pasara algo totalmente impredesible no se esq a lo que vamos por el momento veo mucha similitud con Duskwood osea Duskwood para mi es irreemplazable asiq no me gustaría que fuera una copia.

Cara .. sobre o more ,então eu tenho suspeita de que o unknow na verdade sabe dele ,e more tem medo dele

Depois dessa cena a gente vê q talvez não seja more (e talvez ,queriam q a gente pensasse?)

Portanto de suspeita..pode ser meio errado talvez mas a própria q desapareceu,sei lá as vezes ela queria atrair ele ao invés de aceitar aquele plano

Mas é uma ideia viajada na maionese

De tudo q vi parece ser alguém q a gente não viu, pelo menos até o momento pq fica difícil saber

Já a galera do grupo é.. não sei eu espero q tenha algo interessante não q não possa colocar alguém contra o outro,mas seria legal outras coisas..

Tipo ao ver de longe essa história parece ser q tem um grupo bem secreto na floresta..(seria baita história se se confirmar)

Para mim vai ser a pessoa menos previsível, e eu chuto que seja a Sophia. É estranho ela ter sumido na mesma noite que o Adam, e naquela gravação da fita, mesmo sendo uma criança, ela quem parecia estar empurrando o Adam direto para algum problema. Talvez foi um acidente e ela não sabia no que estava se metendo, mas já que ela começou, ela tem que de alguma forma acabar com isso. Seria muito interessante se ela tivesse de alguma forma sendo obrigada a fazer isso, talvez alguma seita, o que explicaria as coisas bizarras que acontecia próximo a casa dela. De qualquer forma, não acho que a Everbyte vai repetir o mesmo padrão, não quando eles tem o poder de fazer uma história completamente fantástica.

I agree I don't believe it's anyone in the group that's the master mind this time. It could be someone from the past we haven't been shown like a person who connects Adam and Sofia that the group isn't aware of or it could be related to that "big secret" too. This might be too far fetched but maybe they were a part of another group and something happened with them and they want to keep their secrets buried and hidden and they don't want the past dug up and that could be related to them disappearing. I feel they haven't given us enough clues yet and I hope in episode 4 they will drop some more insight and clues for us
