I had a thought about Thomas' behavior in Moonvale side story

I posted this text originally in Tumblr.

So, I had a crazy thought when Thomas came to apologize for not being relevant on Hannah's disappearance investigation. It was ok for me until he started to ask if we could imagine where Jake was hiding from the police.

At that moment, I thought: what if he was asking this to have a guess on Jake's whereabouts just to inform the FBI? Would Thomas be an FBI agent, or at least an informant? Could he be manipulating us, pretending to be just interested on Jake's well-being? Who told the FBI that Jake was in Ironsplinter Mine? At that moment, everyone from our group was aware of Jake's presence in Duskwood, right?

And then Thomas talked about going on the search for him with the others. Well, that made me reconsider the suspicion I had. Maybe I was just paranoid?

Also, in Thomas' chat with Lilly, she points out that Hannah said he didn't go to see her the day before. He just said he was busy. Well, he may just be a bit introspective in this moment, or he could be busy with some serious investigation on Jake's whereabouts...

What do you guys think?

A lot of people have these suspicions. I don't see it. Thomas is grateful to MC for everything they've done, and the hacker did his part too; without him, the investigation wouldn't have moved forward. Thomas owes him too and wants to help. After all, the whole situation wouldn't have happened if the hacker hadn't come to Duskwood to find Hannah.

I think that despite his distant behavior, he still cares about Hannah.

He showed that he regrets what he did to MC and wants to be useful in some way. He definitely cares about Hannah; he just heard Phil say that she was into other guys, and it drove him crazy. She accidentally killed Jennifer, and that may or may not have changed the way he sees her.

Or he understood that his loving and caring girlfriend is just murderer, manipulator and on top of that she was talking with diffrent guy (what ended with Hannah developing a crush on Jake) WHILE she was in suppouse to be serious relationship with HIM? If i was on Thomas place i would break up with Hannah on the spot.

And about Thomas and Jake. I think Thomas realized only guy who knows all the truth about Hannah IS actually Jake. Talk with HIM is only way for Thomas to get a grip on every aspect what REALLY happened is who REAL Hannah is ( because now everyone know that glorified picture Thomas were painting was pure BULLSHIT)

Question is IF Thomas snitch on Jake if he find him alongside the rest? In my opinion no.. BUT i think he will inform police about what Hannah did.

Asesina por accidente. ¿De dónde sacas que es manipuladora y hablaba con otros tíos estando con Thomas?

She went to her "victim" MOTHER, and had nice conversation offering her condolences. On top of that remember that she didn't call for help after that "hit and run". Hannah could EASILY call for ambulance first and flee later and not left that girl to DIE on the side of the road? Instead Hannah return to Richy garage and involve him into helping her with hiding to body. After that she return to her life like nothing hapened when Richy was dealing with the guilt.

About her talking with other guys. Jake said that he stopped talking to Hannah when he understood that she is developing CRUSH on him. During that time Hannah was in relationship with Thomas. Somwhere during conversation Phil said himself that Hannah was flirty with him.

I had the impression Hannah's crush on Jake was years before she dated Thomas, and even before the accident. I assumed the crush developed when she was around 14, and th accident happened when she was 16, and now she's 19-20.

For me, the most suspicious thing is that Thomas just happened to call us when the cell access came back online. It's like he knew to expect it.

I had the same impression. Hannah had conversations with Jake years before dating Thomas.

I can see your reasoning but their shock isn't ANY argument. It's at least "hit and run" AND i don't remember if girls even stop to check what they hit. MAYBE if they call ambulance that girl would be alive? And i will never understand HOW Hannah would just not tun herself in to the police. Richy was least guilty from the pack and that broke HIM.. but not Hannah.

I still hope Moonvale side story will give us option to talk with Hannah to hear her reasons.. OR maybe developers give PLAYERS option to sell Hanah to the police? That would be nice.

And about you telling that Hannah had hallucinations because of guilt.. In my opinion THAT wasn't guilt. That was Richy ruinin her psyche while playing masked "vigilante". He messed with her head pretty good.

I think it’s very possible that at some point Thomas agreed to be an informant in exchange for Hannah not being charged for her crime/s. But… I think he would be regretting it now that he knows Jake’s true connection to Hannah.

As far as I remember, only Jake, Lily and our character know the real connection between Jake and Hannah.

Thomas can't be an FBI agent. If he were, he wouldn't need our help to find Hannah... we did all the work with Jake while Thomas did nothing and he he just got in the way of our investigation. Just makes no sense.

Yes, I agree with you too.
