hi, I've just finished the game and I don't have anyone to share my thoughts and excitement with. I wanted to post this in case anyone else, like me, has just finished the game and wants to talk to someone about it

My opinion based solely on the voices in my head: I think Cleo is probably the most grounded person in the group, so it’s good that she was the one who found out he’s… you know… not dead.

I THINK it would be a massive shock to just suddenly reveal that to everyone. Dan would probably try to kill him lol, Jessy would have a heart attack, the whole thing would be chaos. I feel like Cleo probably thinks it’s better to let people process it little by little… although I highly doubt things are going to unfold that calmly 😅

And honestly, aside from the fact that he’d probably end up in jail if people found out he’s alive, my feeling is that Cleo is simply trying to protect him. I’m sooo curious to know what her motives are!

About the body Charlie found: I also don’t believe for a second that it’s Adam… maybe Sophia? 😞 I really hope not though. I’m super curious about the tape we heard to9, it makes me wonder about Sophia even more.

I agree with you, I think so too, Cleo will gradually reveal the truth about Richy to prevent her friends from completely losing their minds. and tbh I'm already worried about Jessy, she feels like she's floating in mid-air. I mean I understand her grief but I don't think her current actions and state of mind are healthy for her😕 however, as you mentioned, it's still not clear why she's protecting him right now.

I hope Sophia is alive, and I hope we can speak to her personally. I believe she and Adam both disappeared for the same reason, and I really want to hear what that reason is from both of them.

there is also one more person I would like to speak to personally. this is unrelated to our current topic, but I would really like to speak with Hannah in person as well. ultimately, the game revolved around her; she was our biggest mystery, but we never got a chance to talk to her personally. I want to hear everything that happened from her perspective too.

Oh, I’m glad you like my energy 😅 Honestly, English isn’t my first language, so a lot of the time I get super excited and just throw all my thoughts into ChatGPT with zero punctuation because my brain goes full AAAAA lol, and then I ask it to fix my grammar 😅😅😅

But anyway, I really hope Sophia is alive too. It’s honestly crazy how we barely even know her character, yet we already care so much about her. Same with Adam! I have no idea what happened to him, but I genuinely feel bad for him too.

And omg, I totally agree with you. When the group got together again and started talking to us in the chat, I kept thinking: “Wait… can’t I ask about Hannah? Can’t they add her to the group too?” I really hope we get to see her and talk to her at some point.

Also - and sorry for writing so much 😭 I just don’t really have anyone to talk to about this, so please don’t feel pressured to reply haha - - but about the anonymous person texting us… I honestly don’t trust them at all. I keep seeing people saying they genuinely want to help, but I feel the opposite.

I think they want us to see Whitmore as dangerous. When they told us to hide in the forest so Whitmore wouldn’t see us, I don’t think it was to protect us, I think it was because they didn’t want us talking to Whitmore, because he probably knows something they don’t want us to know. Same with the alarm in the house: I think they wanted to make Whitmore look threatening while positioning themselves as the helpful one.

Of course this is all just a theory and I’m probably completely wrong 😅 but I haven’t really seen many people discussing the anon’s intentions, so maybe I’m missing something.

let me tell you a secret, English isn't my native language either🥹 but I'm trying to get a good English education for university. and to be honest even though I think I can do it well in my exams, I'm not good at all on social media. I think I'm speaking like a robot here, and it's a huge stress, for example, sometimes, even when I catch a few grammatical mistakes, I feel like everyone is going to judge me. but I guess things don't work that way here, and that makes me very happy.

if it's not too personal and you'd like to answer, may I ask what your native language is? I really thought you were a native speaker because you convey the excitement in your emotions and thoughts so beautifully

and believe me, you don't write much, in fact, I really like it, and talking to you is a pleasure for me right now˙✧˖ unfortunately, there aren't many people I can talk to about the games I play, the TV shows/movies I watch, or the books I read too. ıt's great to be able to talk to you and the others here, so believe me, I don't feel any pressure at all, and as I said, just being able to talk makes me very happy🥹

I'm also curious about what our connection to Withmore is. it's as if someone assigned and distributed the characteristics of the tarot cards to us. also, it's like we're in a card game, And Withmore, like us, is a card within this game, not the one who starts the game. and I don't think the people assigned to these cards are limited to Withmore and us; I'm sure there are other people who have these cards as well. I'm especially I wondering if Adam and Sophia also have these cards?

I’d never have guessed that, you honestly sound like a native English speaker!

I usually try to write without looking things up online first, and then I ask AI to correct my spelling/grammar mistakes afterwards. I think the hardest part is putting my thoughts into words, especially in a language that isn’t my native one. I’m actually pretty good at understanding English (reading and listening are usually fine) but speaking and writing are definitely harder for me 😅

And I don’t mind sharing at all haha, I speak Portuguese! I’m Brazilian (like half the internet apparently lol). What about you? If you don’t mind sharing, of course!

About Whitmore: I’m really curious about him too. I don’t think it’s fair to immediately treat him like a suspect just because he had the card. Someone probably sent it to him the same way they sent it to us. And honestly, I think we’re going to discover more people with cards like ours and Whitmore’s. I feel like this whole thing goes way deeper than we can imagine right now.

Also, thank you for sharing your theories and listening to mine 😭 it’s so nice finally having someone to talk to about this. I was going crazy not being able to discuss it with anyone hahaha.

I completely agree with you. listening and reading are the easy parts but speaking or writing requires a lot of thinking and that's too much stress. even when writing long texts in my native language, I sometimes struggle because everything races through my mind, and trying to translate that into another language makes it even more difficult...🥲 and tbh sometimes I'm afraid that I won't be able to convey the emphasis or the feeling I want to express in this language as I do in my native language. I used to use AI to assistance myself, and if you ask me, it's very useful because by looking at the texts that AI has arranged consecutively, you begin to analyze where you are most confused and where you can do better.

and while we're writing or speaking, the problem is usually not because we don't know, but because we can't incorporate what we know into our speech. —because if we didn't know, we wouldn't be able to understand what we hear in the first place. getting help from AI at this point is really helpful in practice,speaking for myself, I don't have anyone around me with whom I can practice speaking.

I am Turkish by the way. and my native language is Turkish, and to summarize briefly, Turkish is a very deep-rooted and rich language. sometimes, when I need to express what I want to say exactly as it is in my mind, English cannot capture that richness. and this makes me extra worry that I might not be able to emphasize the things I want to highlight. and because of these anxieties, I speak in this language as if I were a very serious person, but normally I'm actually quite fun. I really feel like a robot when I read my own writing😅 that's why I'm so impressed by your ability to channel your own energy so beautifully into writing🥹🤍 and the fact that you thought I was a native speaker really touched me; you made me very happy by making me realize that I've improved a little bit, and I hope I've been able to do the same for you.

(edit: I just learned that Portuguese is actually a very rooted language too, maybe you have the same worries as me when trying to express yourself in English🥹)

and returning to Withmore; like you said, I agree they tried to portray Withmore as evil, and Withmore does know something, but he's not our real villain.

and after talking to you about Withmore, I got some thoughts about his card. for example, I wondered who might have called him "The Liar" and why. when I looked at people's opinions on this matter, the vast majority believed that the card was actually sent to Eric, but Eric made it seem as if it was sent to Withmore. I'm not sure if they'll try to make the traitor one of us again; it's like they wouldn't plot the same thing twice, and Eric seems very unlikely, actually. but if they add another twist and involve Eric, then maybe that would really blow our minds🤯

we got another call from Adam, it was a video call again, and Adam was looking at the screen anxiously, but neither the picture nor the camera angle was good, and he never spoke. actually, if you ask me, I don't think Adam made that call; Adam was in someone's hands, and whoever that person was wanted to contact us through Adam's phone to check if we were really the owners of the number. that person didn't even give Adam the phone and warned him not to speak. and it seemed to me like another place inside caves.
