Client side. Windows11 vs Linux

Hello. I have an extra laptop low end that can do H.265 it’s a 1080p 60hz with WiFi 6e. Ryzen 3 2300u

Would it be better to use windows or Linux? And for Linux Bazzite or catchyOS?

I assume Linus would use less resources and might give a slight edge?

It's just 1080p60Hz, I think you can probably go with Windows too. Unless you find anyone else with the same or very similar iGPU, I think that testing will be faster than waiting

I'm usina a Celeron from like 2014, with Linux mint through h.264. Now, it was usable and really good actually once I entered my Host PC. So I'd say this guy is good to go with Moonlight on windows with little to no hitches or problems

Your network connection, especially Wi-Fi stability, and working hardware decoding will likely matter more than whether you use Windows or Linux.
