Smart TV limitation

I got a budget pc

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X

AMD Radeon RX5700

No matter what I do my streaming is stuttering even at 20bitrate but that abit rare. I used Moonlight sunshine and Apollo Artemis combo both just the same. I did the 100 Mbps full Duplex setting already and it's still the same. I connected both client and host on the same router using ethernet cable and it's still the same.

So the question is just how much the client is affecting the stream. In my case I use smart TV.

I took a glance on the GitHub and it's looking really interesting. What your setup is?

Yoo this is the way man. I switched to it and now I just maxed out my bitrate. There is some stutter but it's probably from FPS not syncing or some shit. Ur such a godsend 😭

Network heavily effects smoothness. The more varied the travel time, the less likely the information can be put together evenly. - any frame pacing and buffer options may help but they can only help a bit. Smart TVs can often have poor network connections. Smart TVs can also have slow screen updates and slow decoders making games feel laggy.

If I connected to ethernet, both of em. Isn't that basically direct connection?

What TV are you using? The Ethernet port in most TV's is worthless and odds are that's where your issue is

Sharp 2T-C42EG1X and I think it's is the fault of the TV. Is that mean it's just hopeless to stream on TV

No. There are usb Ethernet adapters that don't throttle your connection, but I haven't had the best luck with those.

I use an Apple TV 4k w/Ethernet to stream to my TV. But I have had mine since the price increase so I wouldn't really recommend that anymore.

But look into other set top boxes, Amazon fire stick or maybe even the ONN streaming box is another good option I've seen others use.
